Is UMC Virtual High School accredited?

Yes! UMC is ministry-inspected (BSID #888748) and authorized to issue Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) credits. All courses follow the Ontario Curriculum.

Yes. Students in Canada and abroad can complete all requirements online, including 30 credits, 2 online credits, the OSSLT, and 40 community service hours.

Yes. All UMC Virtual High School credits have the same value as in-person credits in Ontario. Students should confirm policies with each university/college.

A computer or tablet with high-speed internet, and software such as Adobe Reader, Java, or Microsoft Office.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, and China UnionPay worldwide.

Domestic students: Course fee $900 per course. Special campaign discount: $350 off – total $550 per course. Discount is applied only at checkout.

Ontario-certified and specialized educators provide full guidance via Moodle, our online learning platform. Students can contact instructors for support anytime.

No refunds once enrollment is confirmed and the welcome letter sent. Transfers are not allowed after the course starts.

Some courses require completion of previous courses. Students must submit recent transcripts to confirm eligibility.

Moodle requires internet, JavaScript, cookies, and modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari). Some courses may need additional software (e.g., Geometer’s Sketchpad, Eclipse, QuickBooks) or hardware (camera, microphone).
